CVMD.org is a dynamic multimedia medical information network designed to generate, produce and distribute information relating to cutting-edge advancements in cardiovascular disease detection, prevention and treatment. Patients, healthcare professionals, hospital administrators and scientists will gain unrestricted access to the highest quality multimedia educational materials available relating to cardiovascular medicine and surgery.

• The primary method of distributing information is through a centralized website (http://www.cvmd.org).
• The information will be freely available to everyone without subscription or registration.
• The primary media used to coordinate and distribute educational materials will be through the iPod and podcasting. These materials will be disseminated in such a fashion that multiple podcast networks will be populated with CVMD.org podcasts as they become available.
• Educational and clinical materials will be collected and produced from the regular daily proceedings of the Arizona Heart Institute and Hospital, including organized conferences, meetings and presentations.
• Other internationally-recognized cardiovascular specialists will be invited to contribute suitable educational materials, either individually, or with the support of CVMD.org.
